Put an ear to the world of Memphis, and you will hear your heart skip a beat in the heartbeat of India Fest, to be celebrated on Saturday, Nov 1 at the Agricenter. Brought to you by the India Association of Memphis, India Fest is entering its 12th year of bringing the culture, food, sounds and traditions of one of the world’s largest countries to the local population of Memphis.
Last year more than 10,000 people attended the festival. And, the crowd is expected to grow exponentially this year. Visitors are invited to shop, savor, and engage in an experience that is one of its kind. It’s an opportunity for our cultural diversity and ethnicity to mingle to in the greatest traditions of a colorful Bollywood movie.
Have you ever watched a Hindi movie? Have you ever been mesmerized by an Indian dance number? Have your taste buds been excited by Indian spices? Whether you have done it before and want to repeat the experience or whether you want to experience it for the first time – we encourage you to come and join us at Agricenter on Nov 1. Just enjoy, see, hear and smell what you cannot elsewhere. Know what you cannot possibly know somewhere else, and come a little closer to seeing into yourselves!
The writing is on the wall – do not miss out!! India Fest is much more than a festival – you have to be there to experience the difference! The universe of Memphis will merge and spawn new verses into the concept of multi-verse.
